My Curvy's front tyre when I got it had been squared off and was hard-as-rock even though it had good tread but well by it's use-by-date(Check your Age markings).

This made slow speed turning at junctions pretty bad.Not so much at speed but new Rubber made all the difference and all vagueness and problems went.
