Re: listerning to radio
I listen to Exhaust FM! On a more serious note though, i found it really disconcerting listening to music whilst riding, couldnt concentrate at all.

Re: listerning to radio
I just got meself some sennheiser c300s, they are very nice. Of course, I'm off the road at the moment. There's been a few threads like this recently, I think the most recent one is in the ancillaries section.

Re: listerning to radio
I'm with Mr UKI, can't be doing with listening to radio etc when I'm out on a ride, haven't done it for years and found myself totally ignoring the music and just getting wound up at not being able to hear what me bike's up to

Re: listerning to radio
I sometimes listen to music on the bike, but more often than not I don't. Can't remember for the life of me what earphones I use, but I know they were 'in-ear' type. Pretty comfy too.
There was one occasion, just after I'd fitted the scorpion exhaust, that I was riding home from work, and wasn't paying much attention to what the bike was doing. Long story short, I threw it on the floor before I hit a dry stone wall!! I've also tried listening to classical music whilst on the bike, and that makes me smoother, but also far more aggressive when filtering. Music can be a distraction for me. |

Re: listerning to radio
I'd agree. not saying don't do it, but i find it makes me more aggressive, which is not good thing - cars will always win.
If you are feeling flush, there is a company who always turn up at bike shows who will custom make you earplugs or earphones moulded to your ear, so i'd imagine they'd be very comfy. Not cheap mind. EDIT - can't remember the name though, sorry. something like Green Leopard??? |
