Swing arm
When I loosen the rear axle nut to remove the rear wheel or adjust the chain, the arms of the swing arm open. Rather than being just the right distance apart for the wheel to fit, there is more room which has to be taken up by tightening the axle nut. Is this right or do I need bigger spacers or a different wheel?

Re: Swing arm
It's meant to flex a little, as it makes removing and installing the wheel a lot easier amongst other things.
Is there any lateral movement of the wheel when everything is fitted and tightened up? |

Re: Swing arm
Nothing to worry about mate, there is flex built in to the SV swingarm which is why it springs out a little when you undo the rear axle.

Re: Swing arm
just makesure some twit has not forgotton to put a spacer in, if the distance is any more than 1cm then there is a problem i would say, there should be a spacer on either side
