bleeding brakes! They are a pain. If you have no air leaks then zip tie the lever anyway and make sure the master cylinder is also bled. I hate bleeding brakes.

Quiff, if you're fed up with bleeding in the morning, do it the reverse way around.

Strong syringe (I use the Mity vac) & push brake fluid up from the bottom, watching the res as you fill. Once you see fluid, assuming you're starting from completely empty lines (or as near as damnit), then top up a little & bleed as normal.

Always works for me anyhow.

That's my way too, easier to push air up than push it down. I hate bleeding brakes...

Posted elswhere and earlier on this thread, tie the lever back to the bar overnight. The magic brake fairies come and sort it out for you (well they did mine!)

I take the calipers off, clean them and then push the pistons back, means less space for the air to fill up. Then I use my trusty medical waste syringe and push the fluid into the lines. Once I've got the reservoir full I bleed as normal.
I fitted a 3 line set a little while ago and the longest part was popping the rear RHS panel off to get at the rear brake reservoir.

When i did my lines the first time, it took me aaaaaages. No clever tools, just a bit of hose and a powerful dose of sunburn. Probably, I'd say, the most frustrating and difficult job I've ever done on the bike, particularily since when it finally came good I wasn't actually doing anything different to what I'd been doing for an hour. That's annoying, if I was doing it wrong that's fine but when you're doing it right and it just isn't working, then it suddenly does...

But, I did get it done, and back then I knew nothing

Try bleedimg the master cylinder forst, USE A CLOTH to catch the fluid, back off the banjo and bleed the cylinder then carry on as normal - please don't get any fluid on your paint. Top Tip have a bucket of water standing by - if you spil fluid on the bike chuck the bucket of eater over it should wash it away and prevent the paint marking.
