Default Bike swap!!!

Ok, i very much dought anyone can help but here goes!!!!

I have decided that for the type of riding i do that my K3 naked SV650 is not the right bike for me, find the riding position is great for going to and from work but not for the wiltshire roads, i think i would get on better with the faired version.

I have a K3 Silver Naked SV650 in excellent condition,

Millege = 4500ish
fitted with:

twin headlights
Braided hoses
EBC pads
small Indies
R&G crash bungs
rear seat cowl + pilliion seat & grap rail
Scottoiler
Power Commander
Colour Coded Undertray
Tail Tidy
BlueFlame dual port Carbon fiber can (sounds sweet)

Looking for K3 fully faired onwards with reasonable millege

Can Anyone Help?????

Yes, providing there's a small cash difference coming my way, you can have my K1 (03) black naked SV with only 30k miles.

From the silence I take it that's a "no" then?

Seriously, are you turning into a wuss? Real men ride naked!

Not at all, i have only ever riden a naked bike of this size and would like to try a naked as i felt more comfatable cornering on a faired bike.

End of the day, this just something i'm interested in doing either this or get rid of it and buy something like an R6 or 636

how much would it cost to convert your naked into a faired? maybe mike1234 or someone in the racing world can help you source a fairing, bars, lower pegs to do the job on a budget?

there's guys on svrider who have done it the other way round so can't be impossible.

Unless you're gonna do serious motorway type miles - why bother with the fairing - just add clip-ons & you'll have a great cafe racer SV !!

They are handle bars that clip on to the forks beneath the top yoke instead of bolting to the top of the yoke like yours. Look at a faired SV's handle bars. They are clip ons.
