Getting home in time to take my boy to his swimming lesson (mrs normally takes him).
Great to see how far he's come on.
Put a big smile on a proud dads face.

Slow and easy Jayne, but gentle exercise will help promote better mobility.

A colleague of mine had a ruptured disc in his back, he was off sick for nearly 2 months. A couple of epidurals fixed his sciatica, but a program of yoga, core strength exercises and physio has meant he is back to full fitness.

He was lucky, as his sister is a physio and was able to give him intensive physio free of charge, which is something not everyone can afford to pay for & the NHS will only give the minimum of treatment.

Going to my youngests school Christmas show.

So many happy faces & beautiful singing, including a 'Away in a manger' sung in French.

Puts me in the Christmas spirit

People on here make me smile. I ask one thing thinking its going to be a struggle. But you guys as always come up trumps...

Thanks very much.

It also makes me smile that I've basically finished organising GM2015 (just finishing the tshirt design) and its all set. Just need people to turn up and I can really enjoy it... This time I'm booking the weather through a more reputable source.

This is true, because I have a collection of injuries, rather than one single, I have a lot to deal with. Sadly some of them were caused by my career as a Mountain Bike Guide, Climbing Instructor and Mountain Leader, lots of wear and tear, damage from injuries that never healed, major groin surgery that did not fully work (no not a bladder job for Ketamine addiction!) and then the accident at work put the nail in the coffin. However I am a belligerent old bag and I will be out on my bike again soon, because long before I got into motorbikes, I was a mountain biker and I always will be.

I was somewhat let down by my local hospital when it came to physio, they offered accupuncture rather than actual treatment and it did nothing. My complaints about it doing nothing were met with the comment that I had to give it more time. In the mean time the injury got worse every time I moved my arm. Finally I won my court case against the people who caused the stack to collapse on me and I was able to visit a private practice in Thailand and the difference was noticeable.

It hurt like hell, often made me cry with pain and being told to move to my arm and shoulder was the complete opposite of that what I was told by my hospital in the UK.

The big grin factor came when I was able to have treatment every day for a month in Thailand for the same as it cost to have treatment here in the UK for a week. Also my physio over there Usara, was super hot!

Sadly back here, treatment is beyond what I can afford, but I am improved over what I was. My plan is to be back on my bike, back on my motorbike and hopefully back in work next year. I am off so many meds that it is unreal and I am super happy about it all.

Mine for the day:

I know I sound like an alcoholic but I'm exploring taste so it is quality over quantity. (But you also need a decent selection too )

Doing a Facebook quiz, and this was the result. I am a WOMAN! But always was a bit of a tomboy.
