Re: power commander
i dont think it really boost's the BJP i think it just gives/makes better fueling etc...
im not a 100% sure if it gives extra BHP as when i fitted mine i never dyno'ed the bike b4 hand or anything. |

Re: power commander
IMO getting a good fuel/air ratio is important
Any one with a curvy will adjust there jets to get it running right so why not adjust your fueling? A power commander is not the only way to go The suzuki ecu can be re-mapped just like a power commander look here http://direct.nikkoracing.com/boutiq...g=lg_us&type=3 A power commander can be download with maps from the internet But are thay right for your bike?? A dyno run & remap is as good as you can get IMO |

Re: power commander
Right then...
The suzuki ECU is adjustable to some degree, not a great deal and not to any great amount of accuracy. The power commander is very adjustable, very much more adaptable to other mods too. But, you've put an I presume freeer flowing filter on the SV without doing anything, so it'll run a bit lean. Not a lot of point spending the couple of hundred extra to sort that out. If you were building a very highly tuned engine then yes power commander, but with your mods just get it remapped. Nikkoracing need to learn to speak english, "impoverish the fuel curve" really... Is that a way to remap stock? or is it an output modifier?

Re: power commander
Does anyone know who can remap the suzuki ecu and the cost of the service?
