I tried one, twice....
Did a test ride with my boy on the back, and then another on my own. It has a lot going for it but it never really rocked my boat, although I really wanted it too. I found it wallowed a bit in corners, hated the clocks (the speedo is difficult to see), and the mirrors vibrated like something from an Ann Summers party.... It was however, very comfortable and sounded great. I can only suggest you go and try one, but for me it just didn't "excite" me, even when ridden hard. . |

I tried one too. A great touring bike but made didnt excite me either. It will chew up the miles in comfort but it didnt have that little bit extra i wanted. Maybe when I get a little older... I rode the Daytona 955i imediately after and that was a lot more exciting in comparison (apart from the sore wrists - but higher bars would help). The noise and induction was missing off the Sprint.

All the info you want on T595 net.but it is a sport/tourer and if you want a big sports Triumph better with the Daytona 995i[They have a special deal on at the minute] Different sound from your twin but with the same sort of torque I have the older 955 Sprint ST which is more tourer biased and more comfortable

The word on the Triumph Forum is that a new 1050 0r 1150 Daytona is not far off which is the main suspect in the "why are Triumph doing um so cheap ?" question. Stonking bikes, I have a 2001 955i " the last of the good shape ) Love it to bits. Sounds awesome.

Swiss By last of the good shape do you mean. curvy ,or pre factory fire
My one is a Nov 51 which would be just before the fire, best build as QC was in question for a little while on resuming production |
