Well been to see the consultant. If they can't get it out via the socket, then they will need to drill a hole in the side of my jaw and poke it out that way.

This knife bites!

A proper Japanese santoku, razor sharp and utterly fantastic to use.

My gripe is, when your dog begs for food whilst you're chopping with that feckin knife, it takes the end of your finger and nail off without pause. Just don't tell the family why the tomato sugo was so red!

We'll they'll knock you out for that.

when i had my jaws moved, they held the top jaw in place with metal plates.

One of the plates came loose, so they took it out, but one of the little screws fell into my sinus cavity and they couldn't fish it out. X ray confirmed it was in there

so i would have had to go through what you might need to have done. But i was in the ward waiting for them to decide what they wanted to do. I leant forward to pick something up from the floor, some goop came out of my nose and sinus, including the missing screw

They said they may not. It would be uncomfortable but do-able. Bricking it isn't the right word right now!

I wouldn't be bricking it, if it sits in the sinus cavity I can't do much harm, and it won't hurt to have it taken out either, uncomfortable doesn't mean painful.

Painfull is an abscess under the tooth, which needs strong pain killers.

stupid abscess is what started all this off! Must admit, I think I have had them before and not realised what they were and ignored them. I've had a bone marrow test done so this shouldn't be too bad!
