Insurance is usually the controlling factor for newly passed car drivers.

My cousin was quoted thousands a year just to insure a relatively small car. His options for anything affordable were very very limited.

I'd say it's inattentiveness of drivers that causes me the most frequent worry and dodgy situations when riding. A new driver can update their facebook on their phone while driving any size car at 50mph. And we see it happening every journey with our perspective on bikes. Not just young riders either. The amount of people I've seen on my commutes recently, driving along looking down at their phone. Lately seems to be a lot with their kids in the car too. Passing on that lesson to the next generation that it's ok.

Yesterday, on what should have been our 24th wedding anniversary, I signed a bunch of solicitors papers formalising the mediated agreement on the end of our marriage.

Not what I expected to be doing at the age of 66.

Not the the greatest of days Craig, I have to admit.

That's **** Gary, but at least you are further ahead than me in the process. I wish I could be in your position, I'd be much happier.

Gary, that sucks. I hope today is a better day, and tomorrow is even better.

My gripe - Obviously much worse than Gary's.

Low flying pigeons.
One nearly took my head off this morning on the GSXR.

I'm sorry to hear this, I went through it in 2000 (after 14 years of marriage) and I still wonder whether I could have done things differently; a pointless exercise. I hope things pick up for you...

Puts the petty problems of cats crapping on my garden into perspective.

It may be the ending of a chapter in your life, but it's also the start of a new one. Try to look forward.

Hopefully tomorrow is better for you than today.

wish I'd called in for that brew now

Very sad Gary. Even though you expect it there something very final about signing a document. Things will get better.
