Any NEMCRC mini-twiners on this forum? Just joined and going to the ACU newbie course on Saturday 30th January in South Shields.

Re: Nemcrc
Alreet.
It will be my 2nd season with the NEMCRC in the MiniTwins. It's a great class and is getting bigger every season. Can't wait to get out on my new bike. You might want to look at the test day at East fortune in March. It will give you a chance to learn the circuit. It's on the 21st of March. Toot....... |

How did you do last season Toot?
I've been in touch with the Melrose club and they've not got the entry forms sorted yet. as soon as they do I'm there ! I love East Fortune. definitely my favourite track. C |

Re: Nemcrc
I've gone from a Carby to an 08 injection. Just built it up from a road bike over this winter. first ride will be at the EF test day in March. It was dry last year, so finger crossed for this.
Best laps from last year were Croft 1:33 East Fortune 1:06 Knockhill 0:57 Thats on Pirelli supercorsa pro's sc1 front sc2 rear. |

Re: Nemcrc
Hi Fellas,
Test day at East Fortune sounds like a good idea, never ridden there. All depends if ACU licence and bike fully prepped by then. Mine's a K4 road bike. Getting suspension sorted later this month and putting on race fairing in Feb. Might be ready by late March, hopefully. Look forward to meeting you on 30th Berlin. Steve |

Re: Nemcrc
Take your ACU application down with you and get it signed by the club while your there, then you can get it snt off straight away. If you do that, your licence will come in time for that practise.
You will need to be a member of the club or have joined on the day though. Where you from then ?? Last edited by toot; 17-01-10 at 04:44 PM. |

Re: Nemcrc
From Whitby, just outside.
There's the small matter of a medical issue that needs sorting before I get my licence through. Won't be a show stopped but will take a few weeks to get sorted. Goes with the territory of being an 'old git'. Passed the eyesight test though. Steve |
