Default Clear tail light

Happy new year all,
I've done a search through the archives for what I want but there are a few things I'm trying to confirm. I'm interested in fitting a clear tail light and from what some people have said there is an issue with the indicator and tail light spacing and the law. Now if I keep indicators fitted as normal and have the tail light indicators aswell, is this still illegal or does the fact that I have indicators at the required distance solve the problem.

For those who have fitted the clear rear light can you just not wire up the intergrated indicators?

All advise and input is greatfuly accepted.
SKEZ

p.s I have looked throuth the internet looking for any official reference and can't seem to find any.

Illegal to have 2 sets of indies at the rear - I dont think you need to connect the ones in the clear set if you dont want to.

Beware however that the clear ones are not as good as OEM.

You can just get a clear tail light with no indicators at all.

They aren't quite as bright as standard tail lights but bright enough

I bought mine off Husky & am well pleased with it. They use the LED bulbs, & are bright enough for me

Got something very similar on my silver curvy and it looks very nice. I'll be fitting LED's to mine after seeing these pics
