Default Quill T3 Positioning!

Hi all,

Having trouble getting my quill t3 paralell with the rest of the bike, i have put the clamp on the outside of the footpeg holder as suggested, but it sticks out!!

Tried twisting it but still wont go,
Any advice??

The fitting for my quill bolts thru' the original can hanger, with the rubber either side of the bolt hole (if that makes sense)

Does make sense, but can you tell me what side of the rubber is the can hanger on? closest to the bike, or furthyest from the bike, Cheers,
