Default Yoshimura full system

Santa's left me a late pressie! :P

My boss owes me a favour, so has ordered a yoshimura full system for my sv. Anyone have one? can you tell me what they sound like? extra kick?

do I need to do anything else? air filter / tune etc?

it's a titanium tri-oval system?

cheers for any answers, I'm a car person normally so still learning way round the bike...

You jammy git!

If it does nothing else it will make the bike sound 100 times better than the stock pipe. May release a few extra ponies with a further few more if you go the whole hog and change the filter, jetting etc.

cheers fellas.

is it easy to change the air filter? I know how to do it on a car, is it similar? i.e. unbolt top of airbox and change?

Cheers

Get a K&N Air & Oil filter fitted next service - then Dyno it after having the system fitted & watch the numbers jump up

You'll probably need the fuel re-mapping (about £70 with dyno run I believe)

Yup, really easy.
tank up, unscrew the top of the airbox, change the filter then reverse.

P.S. You'll need somewhere that's got a Yoshi re-map box - bit crude, but effective... Otherwise you'll need a Power Commander etc & that'll set you back ££££
