Default Clutch cover swap

I have swapped my gen 1 clutch cover for a gen 2 to permanently stop the oil leak from the plastic part.

The oil level windows are at slightly different heights.

Has anyone else done this swap and know what oil level to fill to?

TIA

Have you still got your original cover to take a measurement from?

Yes. It's about 5mm higher from memory, but I'll measure it.
Is it then as simple as fill it the said 5mm higher?

As long as it's no deeper (not that I can imagine any depth change would be significant enough to kill your bike). Visually check they're like for like capacity and if so , yes just accurately measure the height diff

Just reread your post -Careful, if it's higher you would fill it lower wouldn't you?

The original cover has the higher window.
Looks like the new one is slightly wider too.
