Need a Complete Exhaust for my Curvy

The exhaust on my 2000 curvy has had it & it needs replacing, only the end can is OK. There are endless end can options but for a complete system there only seems to be the Delkevic twin pipe set up, which I'm not that keen on.

There are de-cat systems for the newer models & I'm wondering if anyone has fitted one of these to a curvy ?

Anyone found a solution to this problem or got a system for sale ?

I have a complete OEM curvy system, the headers are good, just need a good polish and the end can is immaculate.

You'd need to cut it to fit an end can

I had a Micron full system, but they're not available. Your only other option is to get a system made up, which would be expensive

Thanks for the reply, how much do you want for it plus postage ?

I was hoping to bling the bike up a bit with a new system, they are available for newer models of the SV & V-strom, I've contacted a manufacturer to see if either of those systems will fit seeing as it's the same motor more or less.

The problem is that the later models have an oil cooler and different frames, which is why the curvy isn't listed as a fitment for these systems.

I'll find out what it'll cost to post it, as it's a blooming awkward shape to post. I don't want much, as I sold my curvy two years ago

That's what seems odd, if the older models were the ones with oil coolers then there would be something in the way, but the older ones are simpler, ah well.

That's fine, it's going to be a big job, the front studs are rusted beyond recognition.

Having had some time to think & look around I think I'll take the opportunity to add a throatier & cooler looking end can, so if you want to cut the can off it will be easier to box up & post, I'm still very keen to buy.

The studs/nuts on mine are a mess, would utilising a nut splitter or a Dremel leaving the studs exposed be any good?. I dare not try with a spanner!
