Default Cutting point for Renegade standard level on a Curvy ['01]

Afternoon ,
can anyone tell me just where I should cut my stock Suzuki exhaust to allow fitting of a standard level Renegade exhaust? I've read 40mm and 50mm from under the weld near the footpeg, which is correct? If anyone has such a can fitted a picture of your exhaust in place would be great.
Also do I simply tighten down both ends of the link pipe with exhaust clamps?
Thanks in advance.

do it 50!
if too long take another 10 mm off!
position pipe in hanger loop and then tighten it and the two pipe clamps!

I went for about 3 inches to fit my Viper which was just about right, and my link pipe is exhaust type clamps. Enjoy
