Bloomin hell.. If it was one of the older Sohoer's (like Zig for example..) I could believe it, but Chris?! So lucky that his Aussie guardian angel was there to save his life.. Hope the worst is behind you mate and that you are on the road to a quick recovery! Kate sends her hugs and wishes you to get back on your feet soon!

Funny you should mention guardian angels Martin. Just before he left I gave Chris one of my pendants, a silver Sybil, which is the greek name for female prophet or wise woman. It was engraved with the word 'Safe'. He laughed at me and assured me he wouldn't need it but took it with him anyway. I think my sybil manifested herself as that Australian nurse when he needed her.

Get well soon Chris. Having contracted a few rare diseases/illnesses getting these things in check can take a bit of time, but everyday makes you stronger and more determined to beat them!

hope he has a speedy recovery. this is going to sound grim but if they do open him up its not that painful. i had my heart played with and sent home 3 days later with nothing but paracetamol.

he's a very lucky lad there was a nurse there.
