Default SV1000 Jack up kit - where from?

Found out that my new sv has been lowered. Need to at least put it back to standard, preferably raise it 25mm from standard. Tried a couple of places today, who both said that they no longer do jack up kits for the thou.
They also said that they were different from the 650 dog bones.
Any ideas where I could get some from?

Why do you think its been lowered ? Looks pretty standard to me. What colour are the bones ? I think the standard ones are black while after market items tend to be plain cross section and silver. The thou sits lower than the 650 and the forks push through the top yokes by 10 mm as standard.

I took it to the supplying dealer and they remember the lady that bought it. The mechanic remembers lowering it. Although from what you have described, it does sound as though it is standard.
Is there any chance that you could measure the length of your dog bones, so that I can find out once and for all?

I will also take a photo of mine and post up.
Thanks in advance

No problem. I'm at work at the moment but I'll do it on Saturday when I get up. I thought mine had been lowered when I bought it because it sat lower than the 650 and the forks pushed through the yokes.

The handling on mine was all over the place when I first got it. It couldn't hold an exit line and weaved on bumpy sweepers. I put all the settings back to factory then barely changed them from there. I'm 11 stone ( ish ) Handling is now really good and still predictable when pushed hard on the track, even though the shock is too soft.

Michelin PP 2CT tyres work really well and last for ages. They give ace grip right up to when you are turning the hero blobs to dust.

Keep the area around the clutch push rod clean and don't loose the spacer when you take the cover off.

Enjoy the bike.

Brilliant thanks for that.
I feel a bit like that, but it's more than likely my disctinct lack of talent that makes me not able to hold an exit line!
