Cast came off today

Wrist movement restricted

My plan "A" of riding next week has been abandoned, so plan "B"; lets get the physio road show up and rolling.

The doc rides a 675 Street Triple so we had quite a chat about bikes, not so much about broken bone recovery, although he did say it would be a month or two before I'd be able to ride. Sitting on the bike and going "vrrmm vrrmm" is ok, though.

Good idea.

Moved the comments about my new car to the EV thread here http://forums.sv650.org/showthread.php?t=237956.

Deleted a couple of comments in here that no longer make sense. SOTD back on track!

Give it a little time, and it'll loosen up. Hopefully.

I certainly hope so...

I have a dummy set of handlebars next to my laptop which I keep picking up to twist the throttle - with my current wrist movement speeding tickets won't be a problem.

My fingers and wrist are still swollen (causing tingling/numbness?) so I looked it up and found that this is normal and that it can last months. One lady said she still couldn't get wedding ring on after 6 months. Yikes.

The lad did his ankle/shin playing rugby - the shin fracture healed pretty quick but his ankle(soft tissue damage) used to balloon up for at least a year - not too bad now so hang on in there but dont over do it!

SMOTD for the past fortnight. 9 days on the bounce at work, had 3 night shifts swapped to days and picked up 3 spare shifts (all paid at higher rate!) Now on night 3 of 4 before 2 off.

It's absolute bliss, I'll be playing Call of Duty or Counter Strike for much of the evening

I've just booked tomorrow afternoon off work - it'll be 21 degrees, sunny, and hopefully not too busy on the roads. First ride of the year, wish me luck!

Took the NC700 for its MOT this morning, first ride out since October. Any bike feels quick compared to the car, so refreshing. As soon as it's taxed (April 1st) I'll be out for a bimble, as far as I can see it's permitted even if not encouraged.
