Default Remus exhaust

This may sound like a stupid question but I have just brought a Remus Revolution Exhaust high level titanium but the problem starts here, on the the box it came in (sealed) its says stainless steel and on the sticker it came shink wraped in. Now im doughting myself because it does not look as shiny as the standard exhaust which would point to it being titanium but it cost an extra couple quid and I dont want to pay for something im not getting. Any help guy's

Surely titanium has to be more expensive than common or garden stainless steel?

Chris,
I have the titanium and it should look duller than any other metal.
BIG tip, only use white spirit to clean it.......I didn't and now it has a horrible mottled effect
At Ally Pally I was advised that I can renew the can "skin" for £60 by just drilling out the old rivets, popping on the new "skin" and re-riveting.

Is the stainless used in end cans magnetic? Can't remember.

Try a magnet on it, if it sticks it's definately not titanium at least, but if it doesn't, er, I don;t think you've learned anything.

Any steel is magnetic [possibly not molten though]. You should probably be able to tell from the weight too. If it's titanium it should have a "bloody hell that's lighter than I expected!" feel to it.

So he's still stuck if it's a molten steel exhaust then?

If it glows bright orange and feels like it is burning your eyes out when you look at it, then it is molten.

Does it look like liqud? Then it is molten.
