that was wot i was gonna but i had nothing to do so i popped to the police station ... they checked the lost property and said it was handed in late thursday. after filling in some papers n checking my i.d. they gave it back. only thing that was missing was a tenner not fussed bout that as i got my lisence back.

Yeyyyy result !!!! I am very surprised they didnt hunt out your landline phone number and call you to say it had been handed it.

they were pretty busy wen i got there as the police station near to the petrol sation is closed... hence why they never picked up their fone. but got the lisence bak n thats all that matters.

Thats a good result ace! I just got home form work so just read all your PM's no problem. Also spelling I wouldn't worry I just crap at it. May be not to carry around the licence until you have passed the tests ect.

There are nice people out there so don't loose hope. I recently went to Butlins for a stag weekend and my mete managed to loose his wallet. 2 weeks later a woman phoned him to tell him she'd found it under his matteress and not to worry as she hadn't taken any of the money (there was ?300 in it!), it took my mate about ten texts for her to agree to take ?50 out of it as a reward, and even then she paid for the return postage out of the reward!

I found a wallet at the end of my road a while back, I drove down to the police station at 1030 at night just to hand it in as I thought that I would appreciate the same thing happening to me !
