Default low beam working intermittently.

My lowbeams have stopped working on the pointy sv650s. for the last month the gearside light has been working intermittently (but whenever it failed I just put high beam on) then last week both went out for a stint of riding but they had come back on by the time we stopped up. Now they're not working at all (apart from on high beam).

Any ideas? Sounds very loose connectiony to me but is there a 'low beam' wire/where/what to check?
Going to take apart the switchgear but I'm crap with electrics so any other ideas would be a big help.

Cheers in advance

Some mods have too much time on their hands!
They were working intermittently - now they have stopped working as per original thread title.

Anyhow, double checked fuses and theres no snags or tears in the wiring - does anyone happen to know the colour of the 'low beam' wire? Or any block connectors that it goes through?

Cheers

feed goes from fusebox into right switches (switch normally closed, opens when starter button is pressed), then goes back into loom and to left switchgear (2pos switch hi/lo, soldered wires in feed to switch to allow pass switch to bypass it)

cheers anyway holdup useful 4 future reference.

What I don't understand is why the left one went first
The left light had been intermittent for a couple of months...before they both went. hmm

R/H switch seems fine
