Default Strangest injuries

What are the strangest injuries you have ever had?
The things that when you tell people what happened they question your sanity.

At the moment I am sporting a bruised eye.
After a couple of days off work unwell I went back today to questioning looks.
Try explaining to someone that your 8 week old kitten punched you in the eye.

Broke my leg whilst flying a kite.

Never fails to get a "you what?"

I have no idea how I have broken my toe, much to the confusion of the Doctors. Which has been accompanied by knee Bursitis which I had drained a week ago. Still working on getting the muscle movement back & strength.

Most of mine are work related, had a nice black eye a while ago from whacking myself with a piece of 4x2 timber.

Last November my head had a garage door interface and had to have the 4 inch gash glued.

Was it one of them kites made from a old boat sail?

My odd one was trip to A&E after a glass shattered through my hand as I stopped it from dropping

That reminds me of the time when I put a very large kitchen knife through my hand when trying to separate two frozen burgers that were stuck together

blew my hand up when i was younger using a lighter to see what was in a big oil drum. yes it was petrol yes the lighter blew up in my hand as well as the flames from the drum and i had no eyebrows or fringe for a while as well as a horrible right hand that looked like something out a horror film.

cracking big ball of flames though

Nope, it was a traction kite, minus the cart. Did a proper superman and forgot to let go! Long way up, quick way down....

I set fire to my moms net curtains once filling a lighter up, lit it straight after filling and it went up in a fireball lol

Also I put a .22 blank round down the threaded socket where a mirror should fit on a dt50 I had and my mate hit the cap with the point of a pair of scissors, the shell literally blew to bits and we had brass shrapnel all over our hands
