Re: Yet another bike accident
Poor Dave, Poor Claire, you're gonna need a pair of rollerskates!
I do hope that the surgeons giving Dave the worst case scenarios doesn't make him think his hand is a lost cause I can imagine him wittering away to himself, making him scared witless. Sorry for frightening you with my noisy taps I shall call you in a day or three to see how Dave is fairing. Use your time off wisely, in that I mean, you have a lot of running around to do, so make sure you get some hours to yourself If you get really fed up, I'll come down, you only need to say. One question though....if he can't scratch his nuts, and he can't eat rolo desserts, how the hell is he going to make his hair all vidal sassoon?

Re: Yet another bike accident
Just read this Claire, really sorry to hear and Beverley and I send all our good wishes to both of you and hope for the best. Doctors always give worst case scenarios nowadays so hopefully won't come to the amp bit, I think they have to cover themselves due to the comp claims culture we now seem to be stuck with. I hope all goes well and take care of yourself, ( and Dave as well).
Daryl.

Re: Yet another bike accident
Hi Claire, Just read, GWS to Dave, will keep things crossed and hope for good news soon on the wrists/hand.
As for the braking suddenly, i am sure when i had a similar incident, some one posted that if the driver brakes and there is no reason, they can be deemed to be at fault, even if you are following and run into the back of them. Get a good lawyer, not some ambulance chaser who paid his insurer for the claim. As mentioned already, Really worried about how he is going to gel his hair now?
