I knew it was on but didn't watch it. I gave up on Top Gear about halfway through the last series.

I never forgave Clarkson for chucking the roof panels on Hammonds Nissan 300ZX off a cliff in an earlier show. SACRILEGE!

Watched it last night and was a bit disappointed - I like it when they are being proper silly - the St Petersburg race was a bit lacking in fun I thought - hopefully the next 9 programs will improve things!

True skip, but they usually start off slow and get better as the series progresses. I must say thought, that new NSX looks pretty cool.

Now much as I love my 7 series, I'd trade it in in a heartbeat for that M6.

A couple of our Members come to Lord's in those Bentleys, and they are rather lovely, but not in yellow. And the chaps driving them all seen to be about 70 years old and drive them like it's a mobility scooter. Such a waste.

I'm enjoying Guy Martin in India on Channel 4 more.

Default Top Gear is back

Slight derail as it was mentioned earlier, guy in india was brilliant!

Hope he does manage to make the follow up he mentioned.

Also as a side note, anyone know what back pack he used?

Maybe I just have a bit of a man crush on Guy Martin but I really though that was an excellent bit of television. Nothing over done, just a willingness to get stuck in to anything that came up. I think the fact that he isn't a classic 'I always wanted to be a TV presenter' type really makes it much more refreshing and honest to watch.

Quite fancy a shot on one of those Royal Enfields now too
