No one here has them in stock with 2 extra teeth. It's weird, on aftermarket spec sheets for the bike the standard size is the largest available. The only option is to go for smaller sprockets

Would've been right up for this for various reasons - including a "Bibio fork bounce ©" if available!

I could probably get my squared off rear (tyre) changed tomorrow but I'll also be swapping the original Gladius shock back in at the same time for it's imminent warranty visit to Cupar. They want extra to remove the tank (because of the GSXR reservoir) and it's an ideal time to check/re-grease all the linkages anyway. So, 17 stone on an original Gladius shock is not a good idea.

But the real "killer" is the all-day wedding on Saturday...

Sorry for the story and hope to get to one of these soon - especially this side of the bridge.

Nah - the GSXR rear shock reservoir means the tank won't lift fully to do the Gladius cam recall check.

I've not rushed to get the recall done - and apparently it needed to have n,nnn miles on it before checking anyway - but booked it in last month.

When I mentioned the GSXR shock (years ago) I'm pretty sure they wanted 1/2 hr labour* if they couldn't simply prop the tank open so I thought "Better idea - I'll put miles on and swap/re-grease/re-swap the two shocks around the recall in a few years" i.e. now.

* Not dissing them, they seem decent enough every time I've been in.

1/2hr is not bad TBH but in reality it takes an extra 5min to take the tank completely off. i do it all the time on my K7 when mucking about under the tank as its much easier to work.

Cupar are good guys.

does the SV tank have quick release fittings? or usual banjo and rubber connections?

took the tank of a mates STriple and it was a doddle with the quick releases not ****ing fuel everywhere... the VFR on the other hand!

the pointy tank has 3 bolts, 2 breather hoses, quick release petrol hose and 1 electrical connector. to take a tank off it takes me about 5min, add another 2 for the seat.

if i had one of those proper petrol coupling pliers it would go a lot faster.
