Thanks mate, I've got the standard can on so shouldn't be a problem.
Are you gonna be there? |

Re: Donington Park GP Evening Tues 29 May 2012 £55.00
Got there about 3 to watch some of the day session. Took up a spot next to the hairpin and saw 2 crashes in the first 2 sessions. One of which was a pretty bad highside where the guy hurt his foot and had to be taken to hospital.
So 5.30 comes and after the 2 faster groups have their fun I bimble out. Took me the whole of the first session to learn the track, was a bit shocked at how hilly it is. It's a bit scary gunning it down a straight when you have no idea how tight the bend at the top of the hill is. Took it really steady, just learning the track. 2nd session I got into it, went a bit quicker, was still overtaken a lot though. 3rd session..... well there was no third session, one of the guys in the fast group decided not to bother with Redgate and instead just went straight on and hit the barriers. An earlier incident meant both ambulances were off to the hospital and the day was ended early. Can't complain really as it has been my fault that this has happened in the past but seemed like a bit of an anticlimax. Don't think I will bother with an evening session again unless it's a track I already know. Good to see you again Allen, thanks for the lend of the chair |

No limits Facebook page says the rider has very serious/possibly life changing injuries! They are also saying he had brake failure causing the accident. They had to stop the event as all the senior medical staff had to tend to him. I hope its better than it sounds and my thoughts are with him.

I had feared his injuries were pretty serious. I saw the bike after and it looked like he hit the barrier head on.
