Default Fuel Tank filler cap - no key.

Hi,

I have just got a replacement fuel tank for my naked curvey but I have a problem

The fuel tank filler cap doesn't have a key!
I'm looking for any suggestions to get it open, preferably that doesn't involve drilling the lock! (although I will if there is no alternative!)

Thanks

Screwdriver? Pretty sure you should be able to prize out the internals allowing you to unlock it!

just undo the 4 allen bolts that hold it to the tank and swap it for your old tank cap

will just check my suzuki petrol cap,but am fairly certain if you undo all the allen bolts, half of which are dummy ones, and the other 4 screw into the tank that the cap will come out,but may be the lock catchs under the tank lip!
just looked and it does catch under the tank lip,so the only way you might get it undone is if you have a tank sender for a fuel gauge, and take this out and you might be able to push the front catch on the cap to undo it,as the catch seems to work like a yale lock
