Daughter's Clio is like a swimming pool at the moment. Tons of stuff about dodgy sunroof seals and drains on Youtube. Looks like I'll be resealing it over the holidays. Tape poly over the sunroof if it has one and see if it dries out. Use towels, then wood pellet cat litter to dry is out.

My old Cavalier was getting soaking wet carpets, as the drain for the heater air box was blocked up, so it filled up with water and drained into the outlets for the hot air, soaking the carpets.

Lynne's clio leaked like a sieve through the paper sun roof seal. It was a bit of a faff to remove it as you have to pull the head lining out the way to get at the dozen bolts. But probably an hours work to remove, apply a ring of silicon and refit. 2 years later, I was in the car yesterday. (Hasn't moved for over a year whilst we wait for daughter no2 to get round to passing her test so exposed to plenty of wet lately) and it is still bone dry.

Tip no 2, whilst you have to roof out. Blow an air line down the drain tubes to clear any potential blockage.
