thanks peeps. its not to bad as stuff goes but bad enough to keep me off the bike for a while.

blood clot in the artery that i had a stent put in last year so its just a case of clearing the blockage via blood thinners. they investigated via angiogram but could not do anything for fear of killing me on the table. my borlocks feel like they have been repeatedly kicked and look like it too.

worse news is, while i was in they done an MRI and have found that the reason i'm not able to walk is that the artery and veins at the top of my legs are like my heart.. all blocked so more tests and surgery ahead

i do know that

they could not get to the artery they needed easily via the wrist (which i've had previous) so they decided that both sides of the groin were in order this time.. yes both sides. last time it was only one side and that was bad enough...

on the upside i got lots and lots of morphine while i was in

Strewth Lance, that's a crap thing to have to deal with. Hope you have the fastest possible recovery. Look after yourself.

Glad to know you're home and hopefully on the mend.

Love oral morphine me, but IV morphine has me "seeing and hearing" all sorts of scary nonsense.
