So who have we got for Wednesday?

Dolanog @ 10.00am:
John (admin)
Me (garynortheast)
Two or three riders from the village - Winston, Jon, and Andy.

Llyn Efyrny/Lake Vyrnwy@10.40am:
Adam
Andy (aj76)
Baz
Craig

Total ride length will be around 150 - 170 miles. We'll probably finish in Welshpool which should be a good jumping off point for everyone to head home at the end of the day.

Don't forget to bring hot drinks and packed lunch of some sort as I'm really not keen to stop at cafes at the moment.

I'm assuming everyone has my mobile number. If not, and you would like it, message me.

Public Safety Announcement
A reluctant mention of face masks; while they are not compulsory in the shops in Wales, many of the shops are now quite busy with it being the holiday. Personally, although I hate using the things, I have now started wearing a three layer mask in shops here as it seems there are an increasing number of inconsiderate bellends who don't seem prepared to keep their distance. If anyone is thinking of stopping at a shop on the way round to get food or drink my advice would be to wear a mask (or keep your helmet on with the visor down!).
Sigh.....
End of Public Safety Announcement

Masks are a good idea. I'm trying to carry one as a matter of habit.

Weather is looking OK across at the coast and west of here now. 0% chance of rain for most of the day with a mix of clouds and sunshine.

I gave my leathers a good clean and Nikwaxing last night, got my boots and gloves to do today. Cleaned the worst of the crud and flies off the bike yesterday as well, and gave it a wipe down with ACF50. Checked oil levels in engine and Scottoiler, tyre pressures done, and chain tension tweaked.

Pretty much ready to go now. I never lose the sense of excitement over a rideout!

We can do a dry run for you

Bike cleaned and chain done with lots of swearing getting the final bolt back in the chain guard.

Bad news Baz has work come up so can't make it now unfortunately.

I have checked the postcode for the village and it's closer than the dam so shall head there for 10am meetup.

Worse than a kid at Christmas looking forward to this ride.

Glad it's not just me getting childishly excited about this ride!

Sorry Baz can't make it.

Don't worry Chris, some of these roads will stand more than one ride!
