Front caliper
Removed front calipers today to face pads and clean up. N/s claliper has 1 piston that will no move, tried with clamps and grips.
Could i try releasing fluid pressure or does it sound like a reseal job? |

refit the brake line and fluid, with out pads in, block the piston that will move (a socket normally works) then gently apply the brakes, use the brake pressure to push it out, once it comes out about halfway grip the piston and rotate it.
you'll find a line of crud around the top of the piston clean that off. Unless you have a new seal kit, watch you don't pop the piston all the way out. you can remove the outer seal and clean all the muck under it though. Cheers Mark.
