This turned up. Race mount with a Ti can. Quality seems better than I expected -will see how well it fits. 5.1Kg including the hardware.

Once I'm further into the deposit saving it's really down to firing in some bank statements and payslips and should have very good offers on the table. Very pleased with myself!
Blimey, what sort of house can you buy in Northern Ireland with a mortgage of £85k , houses must be a lot cheaper than here?!

They seem to have a simplistic way of dealing with finances, as bad as Gordon Brown's selling off gold or raiding the private pension funds !

Here's one at 60k https://www.propertypal.com/79-circu...735928/photo-5

70k https://www.propertypal.com/75-old-g...d-larne/735114

85k https://www.propertypal.com/circular-road-larne/710222/photo-2

My big thing is being able to get the bike in somewhere, whether shed or garage. Bedrooms, layout etc aren't important apart from that

Ha, priorities!

Have to admit, I liked the look of the second one you listed as it had outside covered area for working on bikes

That one went viral on the NI news sites, it's not in a bad area by any means but the decor is well above what you'd expect from the location. It's stunning + that row has a decent laneway at the rear.

A lot of the properties on the same row as the 60k one have garage roller doors facing directly onto a busy but secure side street, would be ideal even if it was another property.

Amazing, they would be at least 3 times those prices around here.

Nice looking places that would be 4 to five times the price here in Buckinghamshire! Good luck with the house hunting Chris.
