MS Word 2003
Everytime I open a document in MS Word 2003 it is automatically on markup
It's not a problem for me (unless I press print without checking first!) but others, who aren't quite so confident fiddling with their settings, are getting annoyed My IT department haven't got a clue how to stop it coming on automatically Is it possible or do I have to run a company-wide training session just so they know how to hit a button ? IIRC, this setting is saved with the document and/or template. If you have the rights to, change the document markup off, then save over the top of the template. Close Word, re-open and open the template.
If this fixes the issue, it'll also need doing for all affected documents. Not fun in a large company! Shout at your IT dept to sort out file permissions on all shared data. |

You have not seen her IT Dept, I have
Thought I mentioned this fix to you already or did you go into wife mode again and ignore what I was saying again when I went all technical on you? Cheers Rich aka Daphne's Husband |
