Question Ideas for which insurance companies to call for multi-bike plus mods please

Hello. I'm perplexed with the amount of insurance companies out there and I haven't got days to spend on the phone giving the same information over and over.

So far I'm finding money supermarket ok but I can't search for multi bike policies on there.

Has anyone had any particularly good prices for multi-bike with mods (not silly mods) on some of them and possibly for them to be parked in seperate places?

Insurance is such a ball ache!

Thanking you kindly.

1st you need to have at least 1 years NCD.

I ended up with eBike, they were the cheapest and one of the only ones that would quote without having a garage.

Just make sure that none of them provide cover through MCE...because you'll get it cheap, but do a search for threads about MCE Insurance on here and you'll understand why. You have more chance of riding a bright blue pig in a polka dot bikini through the clouds than you do of getting them to deal with any claims you make!

Just saying as it's worth checking...lots of companies are just intermediaries.

Try Hastings they do multi bike policy, they insure my SV currently. Carol Nash maybe I was with them for a few years, but they seemed to have got more expensive.

How many of your bikes are over ten years old?

Try Carol Nash if they are all over that, they do a great multibike policy through Groupama under 'Modern Classic'. I insured the VRap(which is a ballache, as some won't consider it) and the SV for £217 FC, with £125 excess on both, but thats with 7/8yrs no claims.

If they aren't, well CN may be a little more than most, but I find them most reliable....and they aren't too bothered about a sprinkling of mods either.
