Default B709

Whilst enjoying yet another day out in your beautiful country with young Smithy, we rode the delightful B709. From the temple to Langholm, D & G council have kindly repaired the many deep pot holes. Unfortunately after repair they have tar and top dressed them, so there's many patches of chippings here and there. Might be better letting the cars scatter it before you ride the road.

D&G council seem to have shares in a tar aand chipping business. I did the A702 & A712 on Friday, large sections of both roads had recently been done. I now see why SIII has be moaning.

Each pot hole has been repaired individually, so there's a metre square of chipping here, there, everywhere without warning. Still enjoyed it just had to go slower.
Not a big fan of top dressing at the best of times.
