Default Scorpion exhaust ?

Jordans in leeds has quoted £200 for a Scorpion stainless oval end can, sleeving and before after dynos, for my 04 650s, is this a good deal?

has anyone got/had one of these? are they any good? are there any major fueling probs?

please help.

Sounds like a reasonable deal.

I got a round, stainless Scorpion for £145, but ovals are generally more expensive. Dyno time ain't cheap. No fuelling probs either.

Performance wise - negligible. Smooths out the delivery and gets rid of flat spots - possibly. Soundwise - bwahahahaha - chuffin marvelous!

Scorpion cans are fntastic IMO and that soundsa pretty good deal, what with the dyno runs.
I would imagine you will gain maybe 1bhp - I would be interested to see what you do gain though!!
It is well worth having the fuel injection re-maped (with a 'yoshi box'), especially if you have an aftermarket air filter fitted. If you don't, I would leave that & wait until you have done all the mods you intend to do, as it will set up the fuel injection mapping for the bike as it is when it's done and won't run as efficiently if you change anything after it's been re-mapped!

Mine gained just under 5bhp through a remap! (Dyno runs before and after the remap - this was after I'd fitted K&N filter, Scorpion can and done the TRE & TPS mods.)
