Default Just had an 'Off'

What a pillock I am! Looked out the window this morning and all looked fine, never checked the local weather on the tv as I was in a rush and then set off for work on the bike. Riding along happily when the weather changed faster than a fast thing, within about 2 mins I was in the middle of a blizzard! At this point I thought I better stop the bike and try and decide what to do. It was too late, the back end started to slide left and right and then we both went down like a big bag of clarts Not sure how long I lay in the road for, but eventually got my thoughts together and got up off the floor. The traffic had all stopped behind the van that was behind me, then the van driver wound his window down and told me to shift my effin bike so I gave him a few choice words, picked the bike up and wheeled it to the side of the road to inspect the damage. All I can say is thank god I put R&G's on last week!!! I have not had a really good check but the only damage appears to be a scuffed near side front indicator, barend, mirror and a broken gear selector. I will have a proper look when I get chance. Does anyone know how much the gear selectors are?

I still cant believe that no-one asked if I was ok

Be carefull out there peeps

New gear shifters are £40 from a dealer.

I'd have given him the finger, stood the bike up, spent a couple of minutes assessing the damage then got on and ridden off.......
