Ok enough folks seem keen to do this next Saturday so lets sort it-

Saturday 2nd Feb.Catherine wheel run

Route - Skipton -Pateley Bridge- Ripon - Leyburn - Hawes - Settle

Meeting places/ times
10am cafe / petrol stn. on A59 couple of miles from Skipton (just before Bolton Abbey junction )
11am Ripon McDonalds on A61 just south of Ripon

Up to you guys now, Il be there ( unless the weathers really crap ) post up if youre coming

Like the idea of first weekend of the month meets.

Sundays would suit me a bit better, but I know from experience you can't please all the .orgers all the time....

Thought if we could get this up and running we could alternate Saturday one month Sunday the next. What do you think ?

He's been to my house....

Started with a blown fuse, then had to change the reg/rec. Went to go to work yesterday, dead, nothing. Push the starter button and it just sits there, staring.....

Investigations this morning, reveal a dodge microswitch on the clutch. Bypass it, bike fires.

Sooo off to the garage tomorrow to see if I can get a replacement. In the last 2 weeks the tumble drier has blown up, suspension link needed replacing on the cage and the bikes packed up.

Back on track....alternate Sat/Sun sounds good.

Hopefully see you in March.

Unfortunately I'm working a 3pm-11pm shift on the second, and it's the wife's 30th birthday that day, so IF I did take it off I'd probably have to go and do the frock shopping thingy, so sorry but I WILL DEFINATELY BE AT WORK !!!!!!!

I do like the idea of this mothly meet up. I did post on one of the other threads that as the massive is so MASSIVE, maybe the component areas could organise/host an event. What do other peeps on here think.

well even though I said I was up to doing this weekend of the 2nd feb, theres no way I can get up to either of those places at those times. Don't know where they are anyway. Usually us down halifax way meet up nearer us, theres a whole boatload of us that met last time somewhere more central to us......you never know if those same guys that met last time get together, we may all meet at a point in the opposite direction ......lol

I am O/K for 2nd aslong as weather is reasonable. No fun riding that distance if weather bad!
