I suspected that was the case. Well I suppose warm, damp/wet/soggy hands are better than dry/marginally damp, cold ones !

top tip: if your stuck away from home with wet gloves nip into your nearest garage and pinch some plastic gloves from the dispensers. put the plastic gloves on under your gloves. this will keep them dryer, when your hands start to get wet again then just replace the plastic gloves. ooohhh and always carry a dish towel
