I would recommend getting a chain catcher for the front, it should stop the chain dropping between the chainset & chainstay, which could have dire consequences for the frame.

Re: The Cycling Thread
Something like this
http://www.wiggle.co.uk/token-tk375-...nt-road-mechs/ There's various types & prices. I've a K Edge one on the Wilier & a Deda dogfang on the Planet X (although doesn't really need it) Tried to fit the Dog fang on the Wilier, but the tube is the wrong shape, so opted for the K Edge, which mounts on the front mech. But depends if what type of mech you have braze on or band on

Re: The Cycling Thread
I would advise selling your car, family members organs, bank robbery, prostitution, drug dealing or whatever else it takes otherwise to get a decent carbon bike.
......but I'm sure most of you already know that |

Re: The Cycling Thread
When you rode it for the first time, did you instantly love it?

Re: The Cycling Thread
Yes, the fit was perfect, it soaks up rough roads and it's fast, I was cautious cornering to start off with but always am on a new bike.
Last night's ride wasn't a fast pace, we went out to concentrate on hills but everything I had a go at was a PR |
