You can get a good idea now of the finished article - so feel free to let me have it I'm off to tidy the garage. Last edited by TamSV; 18-10-10 at 04:04 PM. |

Oh man
That is fantastic looking. Cant believe how amazing that rear end looks. The curves really match the curvey! Well done, this is going to be the best SV I've seen to date. Thanks for the pic's |

Re: A new project (includes pics)
Still undecided on colour. I've ruled out black cos there's plenty of that already and I want to add some colour.
Mrs T didn't like the Gulf idea so she's played her joker on that and has thrown burnt orange in as her suggestion. I was originally thinking red with two white stripes or yellow with two black stripes. Bibio suggested BMW cruiser cream, which I wasn't sure about at the time, but I keep seeing a Mini Cooper in cream with black stripes on the bonnet which I'm now thinking could look quite good. So, basically, no idea. But stripes I think - or maybe checker stripes. |

I think you should go with your idea of the red with white stripes.

Green with cream detailing?
Thats classic, suitable retro, and not black and gold or silver, which is the other popular retro look. I like idea of a naked curvy with clip ons, can't stop thinking about the Honda GB500 with that rear seat unit.

Re: A new project (includes pics)
I've got an idea but I don't know how it'll work out. I don't like the light that's designed for the seat unit, here
http://www.twinshack.co.uk/prods/300.html This fits on the top edge of the unit and I'd rather keep that clean. So I'll need to see if I can hang a light from the underside. |
