hello from a newb
Hi all, thought I'd introduce myself properly here.
I discovered this site last night while trying to look for technical help for starting my sv (which still won't start ) - mind you I only have a few hours at weekends to fiddle with it, its dark when I get home from work at the mo. Anyhoo, I've got to say that I'm very impressed with this site - seems to have lots of members and regular posts etc - got a technical reply within minutes last night Just in case your'e wondering, I've got a curvy black naked sv650 on a T plate. Its a cracking bike for its age (when I get it started) and only had 11,000 on the clock when I bought in last July. Its now approcahing 15,000, without any problems at all. Oh, and in case anyones wondering, the bike pictured in my avatar is what I'm riding until the sv gets fixed: a 1980 honda benlt CD185T. Funky or what? |

Re: hello from a newb
Alright mate, welcome to probably the best biking forum in the UK. A slightly contentious remark but if you take into consideration the lack of tits, gimps, fools and abundance of helpful, happy jolly folk it isn't that contentious after all.
ps.) Nice Honda. Can you wheelie it? |

Re: hello from a newb
Can't say I've ever tried - not that I'd want to, the front suspension is about as springy as a brick. I think I'd knack myself and the bike if I tried.
