Two peneth.

I think we have all missed the point - having seen Chris's clip, he is remarkably talented at riding backwards.

Phew I'm glad I missed all the nonsense spouted about cyclists. Everyone is in such a hurry these days, and can't share the roads for a few seconds longer.

This country has a big problem with its hatred towards cyclists, which I've not encountered in other countries. Most of which had been generated by our media

Wait until the caravans return, then everyone will have something proper to moan about.

Mmmmmmm...... Er, well.......... Right now I can't as I don't have any trainers so if I do have a go it will be after the sports shops open again. We'll see.

Unfortunately near where i live are a lot of roads that get congested by cyclists in this weather. Most ride sensibly, wear appropriate levels of safety gear and have an awareness of what's going around them. I don't know why they ride there as the roads are neither spectacular to ride, and the scenery is not jaw dropping either. Anywho, the car drivers. Most are plebs who are unable to look further than 3 feet in front of their vehicle and plan for coming up on a cyclist. The number of people who try and squeeze past a cyclist and a car on the other side of the road is vast, and people who do overtake on a clear gap don't understand they need to accelerate back up to speed and not crawl past them. Or they simply pull out on to the other side of the road in front of another vehicle and swerve to avoid a crash they very nearly created.

This is precisely why I'm having another one of those wobbly moments about do I hang up my boots for good. Weather is great, we're allowed out again (to go for a walk in a location of our choice) but I don't want to. Part of it is down to the sheer volume of cyclists around here, who I have no issues with 95% of the time, but as you say most of it is the way drivers act around them.

Maybe I will start that thread! I'm gobsmacked that the preservation of cyclists' lives isn't the general view, especially that of cyclists

People who don't seem to know how to use the internet.

E.G people asking if place so & so is open, on a forum, group chat, Facebook etc. Errrr just google it and find out, or call the place and ask . . . . .

Or asking what something is they've never heard of. How about Google it and find out.

How do people not understand how the internet and Google works.

Yeah, and people who go on forums and don't use the 'search' function before starting a new thread on questions that have been asked and answered a thousand times.

Having said that I actually find that using Google instead of 'search' on forums often comes up with more specific answers rather than trawling through loads of possible threads. Just Google 'SV650 fork oil' from browser and it comes up with hits from UK and USA forum.
