Since ive put bigger tires on the jeep my speedo is off, ive been using a garmin. It has a speedo only setting, plan on using just it and a ram mount on my build, itll get used for other things too. Pretty cheap on ebay since everybody uses their phones. I will probably mask it off and silicone the joints

You asked about this also, actually it was the first thing you asked about. i did a fork swap and deleted this, a gps is more accurate. I will eventually get one of these its a speedo drive thats gps powered, https://kosonorthamerica.com/shop/mo...converter-kit/

what do you mean by 54mm forks?

by the sounds of it you have gsxr k1-2 forks or srad forks as you mention 6 pot callipers. there are two different types of 6 pot callipers so be careful when matching up to forks.

for the curvy to keep the steering lock you need to use srad or tl yoke and special top bearing. with the special top bearing there is no need to alter the yokes.

if you want to keep the original clocks you need to make up a bracket for a hall effect sensor and place magnets in the buttons on the discs. this is where it gets a bit problematic as to space them properly you need original discs and not aftermarket as the aftermarket ones have odd spaced disc buttons which burger up the 'pulse'. if you want to change the clocks there are now aftermarket ones with gps built in.

the curvy needs 4 evenly spaced magnets to work (this is why you need to use the oem discs as there are 8 buttons). the hall effect sensor needs to be around 5-10mm from the magnets to pick the pulse up properly depending on the size and strength of the magnets.

one more thing and a word of caution, the 6 pot callipers are notorious for needing regular strip downs so you might be better off using the 4pot instead.

Regular strip downs arent a problem I like to clean a lot haha
They are old srad forks I think which have the 54mm diameter
So.jusy want some yokes to fit that I can still use steering lock
Doing the hall effect shouldn't be a problem either as I'm.building them into the rim itself

the TL yokes are perfect if the ignition mount is in the middle.

yes press the TL stem back into the bottom yoke then get the special top bearing. http://www.marksman-ind.co.uk/ sell the top bearing and shims kit.

or if you already have the bandit stem shimmed into the lower yoke then the curvy is pretty much the same so you could press out the bandit stem and press in the curvy one and not bother with the special top bearing.
