03 GSXR 1000 Forks came in today. I think they are gorgeous. Also Got the swing arm painted

Next on the list is Cerakote the rims.

Yea more than likely I'm going to attempt it... I hate prep work around sensitive parts though, like bearings, gaskets, etc. So that will be a lot of work. Aluminum Oxide will get everywhere and stick to everything. It doesn't matter how well you tape it off.

Or I may just let it bump, depending on how it looks when I get it. I like the looks of all SV motors, black, steel, or mix, I like them..

If it was air cooled, then I'd cerakote it without question. I like the looks of the heat sinks one color and the fins another, I think that looks kinda snazzy.

I took a socket an grinded the slots for the steering stem nut... Well it ain't pretty, but it was only 4 dollars, and I'm able to torque my steering stem to specs. The cheapest one I could find on eBay was 30. Make sure you get a deep or you'll be making two like I did.

looks like all my photos have disappeared, any one else notice that. im able to see other photos in different posts. also looks like the link to the photos has been deleted from my text. wanted to check before I started repasting photos. I also opened a support thread. Yay Photobucket
