SV1000 into an SV650?
Just a thought, is it possible to fit an sv1000 engine into an sv650 frame? anybody know if its do-able and whats needed to do so? i.e different carbs etc? (im on about a pre injection sv..) cheers

I've seen a TL1000 engine in a curvy, it was in streetfighters years ago, but I don't think it was an easy job.

buy a tl thou and spend the saving putting a proper rear shock on it!!

It cost me £300 to upgrade to an SV1000. You'd be mad to convert for that money.

Guy who did it before used SV1000 TBs and ECU etc. Still muchos work and I don't think it was ever really "finished". You can tune the 650 to the point of being a grenade anyway

im 1 so cant insure an sv thou, was just a thought anyway not plannin on doin it, dont need a faster bike was just a thought as to what can be swapped between the two
