Default Repair or Replace?

Guys / Gals,

Has anyone got any experience of fairing repairs?

I have ben quoted £140 to repair and paint my top fairing. It will only cost £190 to buy brand new colour coded from Suzuki.

What would you do?

(I was also quoted £495 to repair the top fairing and respray the rest of the panels to ensure a perfect colour match. This price includes laquering on the tank decal and replacing the SV650S badge on the top fairing. Is this a good price or am i having my broken leg tugged? I'm in the Midlands by the way with Grand Candy Blue paint)

All comments welcome.

Cheers

Top fairing has snapped between the lights, and there is a piece missing too. A few scratches from the slide.

I have just bought a rhs fairing which will need painting.

Was thinking that if I splash the cash on a new fairing I could save cash just having the RHS fairing painted (no need to worry about decals either)
