New Years Eve/Day
I was wondering if anyone was planning to go for a ride on either of these days? I know some people are off to Wales for xmas, I was thinking of something along the same lines for New Year. I dont know good destinations in the area that well so if anyone has any bright ideas it would be good to get out and about

There is a run from The Queen Vic in Coalville every year, The Brass Monkey Run.
You can find the info on their web site. Scroll down the page and you'll find it. http://www.vicbikerspub.co.uk/ We may be doing this, not certain yet.
